This meeting is open to all interested NGOs, whether or not they are a CIVILSCAPE member.

The programme aims to be interactive and participative around the theme of Best Practice in Landscape. This will provide a great opportunity to learn from the achievements of NGOs across Europe. The meeting also aims to generate new project ideas for 2010.

Part of the programme includes a CIVILSCAPE excursion on Friday 28th November, organised in cooperation with the University of Florence. The visit will be concentrating on the nearby area of Prato where, in the past years, Alberto Magnaghi and his group worked on everyday, degraded landscape and drafted the Coordinated Territorial Plan (Piano territoriale di coordinamento). . Speakers include CIVILSCAPE President Gerrit-Jan van Herwaarden and CIVILSCAPE Secretary General Gerhard Ermischer.
